I really don’t have anything to say
When I sit down to write this blog I often times have too much to say. I have a long list of topics that I want to cover. Things that I want to share with the world. Despite the fact that in less than two weeks I will be turning 31 years old AND celebrating one year of blogging, this list has not really diminished. Partly because I don’t get to write often.
So, why am I not writing about one of these burning topics at the moment? I can’t think of any. That’s it. I am a forgetful person to say the least. When my bride calls me at work to pick something up on my way home, I have to take a sticky note and attach it to my sunglasses or I will forget. Oh yeah, I would forget my sunglasses too, but they remain hanging from my collar all day long. Do you know how many cross-eyed looks I get walking around with a sticky note attached to my sunglasses which are hanging from my collar? There was a time I answered the look. Now I try to ignore it unless someone mentions it outright.
I do typically use this blog to help me remember things also. In fact, that is one of the reasons I started it. I wanted my children to know “the real me” as I never knew my parents. So I think I am going to start a new category called “Post Ideas”. Kind of a “Coming Soon to a blog near you” kind of a thing.
Hopefully, this will be the last non-post on this site. I just realized, considering I didn’t have anything to say, I did an effective job of filling up this space. And I didn’t even have to launch in to a version of “I am the very model of a modern major general” (which I use in my tests for work some times).
